CFG is hiring a Medical Director in Marlton, NJ. This is a full-time position providing medical supervision for a busy, three office psychiatric outpatient practice. Job responsibilities include: provision of clinical services, clinical supervision of prescribing clinicians, participation in quality assurance and quality improvement programs, participation in the development of policies and procedures, participation in clinical reviews of critical incidents, provision of consultation to all clinical staff, attendance at meetings with other programs and practices as needed, being on-call for cases assigned to your care as well as serving as back-up on-call clinician for all prescribers. 


  • Manages and leads the psychiatric operations of three CFG outpatient offices.
  • Establishes and enforces sound clinical policies, procedures and practices as they pertain to patient care.
  • Works with Medical Affairs in with credentialing and scheduling of psychiatrists and APNs to ensure that the department is adequately staffed.
  • Assists in the recruitment and selection of new staff.    
  • Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders .
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  • Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.
  • Provides training in the area of psychiatry to staff.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Must be licensed as a psychiatrist in the state in NJ or able to obtain licensure, board certification preferred.
  • Previous supervisor experience required.
  • Experience in providing services in inpatient/outpatient environment. 
  • Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills. 
  • Must complete a satisfactory background investigation.
