Full Time Counselor @ CARES Partial Program in St. Francis Medical Center Trenton

Monday to Friday/Days


MUST have bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field;

Experience working with children in behavioral and mental health.


Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.    


  • Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
  • Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
  • Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
  • Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
  • Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
  • Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
  • All other duties as assigned.   


  • BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
