Overview

Assists in tending to all of the HR related needs to the organization’s entire staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assists management and staff with any HR related questions and issues via telephone, mail, e-mail fax or face-to-face interaction.
  • Coordinates & distributes benefits information to employees.
  • Health Insurance.
  • Dental Insurance.
  • Life Insurance.
  • Short Term Disability.
  • Long Term Disability.
  • CFG’s Group Retirement Plan
  • College Bound Fund.
  • Malpractice Insurance.
  • COBRA
  • Completes paperwork for Unemployment Insurance.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of employees’ Malpractice Insurance. 
  • Mailing applications to employees.
  • Enrolling, upgrading and terminating coverage.
  • Processing annual renewals.
  • Distributing quarterly newsletters.
  • Answering questions.
  • Submitting insurance requirements for certificates of insurance.
  • Responsible for ordering, issuing, maintaining and terminating coverage for cell phones and pagers.
  • Reviews benefits statements for accuracy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Must have excellent communications skills.
  • Must at least one year of experience in human resources. 
  • Must be familiar with federal, state and local employment laws.
