Provides support to the Finance Department, specifically in the areas of Accounts Payable.   Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. 


  •   Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing systems reports to balances. 
  • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices/expense reports and records related entries.
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers and other data.
  • Schedules and prepares checks payable to vendors and other providers of outside services.
  • Resolves discrepancies on purchases orders, bills and invoices.
  • Insures that proper credits are assigned, if necessary.
  • Pays employee reimbursements for expenses, mileage and tuition reimbursement.       
  • Maintains account ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • All other duties as assigned  


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

  • Knowledge of Great Plains preferred.
