Full Time Administrative Assistant

Castle Partial Program in Camden

Monday to Friday

7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years experience as an office manager/administrative assistant preferably in a hospital or health care setting.      
  • Must have excellent professional telephone skills, strong knowledge of mental health language (DSM) also required.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, equipment and systems including telephone, fax, copy machine, calculator and strong knowledge of work processing packages.



  • Primary duties include the provision of clerical and administrative support to the CASTLE Children’s Acute Partial Program, including the Program Director, Medical Director and affiliated personnel.
  • Must be able to efficiently coordinate intake appointments, weekly family meetings, and psychiatric services.
  • Establishes and maintains effective office procedures and efficient work flow in a professional and timely manner.
  • Interfaces with internal and external systems as a major element of the day to day operation.
  • Receive incoming calls and visitors, providing information and resolving problems.
  • Open and distribute mail.
  • Record, prepare, and distribute minutes of meetings.
  • Work independently on special projects as assigned.
  • Order supplies necessary for program.
  • Enter patient registration and billing information into computer daily.
  • Files documentation in the medical record.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patients/families in the CASTLE program.
  • The administrative assistant sets the tone and the overall persona for the physical environment.


  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute. 
  • Must be familiar with dictation, transcription and copying equipment.
  • Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
