Position Summary

InSight Telepsychiatry is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager with excellent organizational skills, financial analysis capabilities, commitment to customer service and healthcare billings/coding expertise. This position is responsible for performing day-to-day billings and collections functions such as preparing invoices, submitting claims to payers, performing daily reconciliations of A/R to unbilled claims and participating in the payroll and month-end closing processes. Working collaboratively with InSight’s CFO, staff and department leaders in a fast-paced, purpose-focused and rewarding environment to ensure accurate and timely billings and collections, protect assets, and comply with an intense regulatory framework. This position will maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all customer, staff and organization information.

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoicing/billing/collections
    • Maintain integrity of systems data
    • Ensure compliance with customer contracts (related to billing)
    • Prepare invoicing/claims submissions
  • Monitor, prepare and check A/R trial balance and aging schedule
  • Direct collections process (in conjunction with Account Executives as needed)
  • Ensure accurate posting of daily receipts and disbursements to the general ledger
    • Assist in system administration and general ledger entries
  • Cash management and forecasting cash flow
    • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Monitor, prepare and check accounts payable and payroll information
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws in billings and collections with customers (healthcare facilities) and payers
  • Communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing, with colleagues and vendors to resolve issues
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience
  • Experience in billing/coding with healthcare payers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask
  • Independent leader, comfortable working with a remote team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains preferred
  • Hard skills required (quantitative skills, technology hardware, software and systems)
  • Soft skills required (writing, editing, design, research)
  • Strong communication skills
